Not long for Lonzo: Ball reportedly sent to Chicago in sign and trade

The Pelicans answered the question as to whether they would retain the services of restricted free agent Lonzo Ball.

Ball was reportedly sent to Chicago, as part of a sign and trade.

Monday evening, the Pelicans agreed to a sign and trade with Charlotte. New Orleans gets guard

Devonte Graham from Charlotte for a lottery protected first round pick. Graham’s deal reportedly

worth $47 million over four years.

Ironically, Ball and Graham have almost identical numbers. Last season, Ball averaged 14.6 points

per game, and 5.7 assists. Graham averaged 14.8 points per game, and 5.4 assists.
