TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WGNO) — LSU held a 7-0 lead over No. 3-ranked Alabama at the end of the first quarter, but lame-duck head coach Ed Orgeron’s Tigers (4-5) could not pull off the upset in Tuscaloosa – falling to the Crimson Tide (8-1), 20-14, on Saturday night.

LSU came into the game 28.5-point underdog for the second straight year after coming off a 31-17 loss to Ole Miss.

LSU last played at Bryant-Denny Stadium in 2019, defeating Alabama 46-41 on the way to a National Championship.
