Fast start, cold finish: Pelicans fall at Miami

The Pelicans started fast again, but then again fell flat.

New Orleans, leading 34-21 at the end of one quarter, scored only 36 points in the next two quarters, on the way to a 113-98 loss at Miami.

The Pelicans fell to 2-14 on the season. Here’s head coach Willie Green, after the game.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker led the Pelicans with 24 points. Jimmy Butler scored 31 for Miami.

The Pelicans host the Clippers Friday night.
