NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – When it comes to your diet, few people are as hardcore as vegans.
Consuming all plants and zero animal products can make finding a place to eat in New Orleans a challenge.
Until now.
All food prepared at Seed starts as a seed.
“Everything kind of came together at the right time, says Owner and vegan Edgar Cooper.
And the time to plant Seed just so happens to be now.
Cooper opened for business on April 5th, “The whole city is becoming more aware of being vegetarian and being vegan,” says Cooper.
A menu 100% vegan bears the ingredients to make this Seed grow.
“The vegan scene here is kind of taking off lately,” says French Quarter artist and vegan Ally Burguieres.
Burguiere’s paintings decorate Seed’s dining room, pairing her animal visions with Cooper’s inspirational wildlife adventure to Borneo.
An array of these plant based cuisines provide native vegan New Orleanian’s a taste of home.
And be one of the first to sample Seed’s newest invention, the vegan beignet.
Seed is located at 1326 Prytania St.
