A Grand Jury has handed up an indictment against a group of men who call themselves “The Taliban.”

The indictment claims that the 7 men arrested and pictured below ran the gang that was responsible for terrorizing the Pigeon Town area for years (an area of the Leonidas neighborhood of New Orleans along the Jefferson Parish line).

In the 12 count indictment prosecutors link the group to a series of shootings as well as the murder of a man who was shot in a drive-by on the Pontchartrain Expressway in 2011.

One member of the indicted group is still at large: Tyrone “Googles” Brooks.

The gang also calls itself “Hot Glocks,” or “P-Block.”
