NEW ORLEANS – On Thursday morning, NOPD officers and the NOFD responded to a body found in the Mississippi River.
The body was discovered near Woodland Highway (LA-406) and Frank Street around 9:00 a.m.
The Coroner’s office will determine the official cause of death and release information regarding the woman’s identity.
