NEW ORLEANS - Tuesday, November 12 marks the one month anniversary of the Hard Rock Hotel building collapse.
Three people were killed in the collapse, that happened on around 9:30 A.M. October 12.
So when will rest of the hard rock hotel come down?
On Tuesday, NOFD Chief Tim McConnell announced a new time table for the demolition.
The plan is to imploded the entire building.
The process will take about 9 weeks, with a three month clean up period for hauling the debris.
Of the three people killed, two are still trapped inside the debris.
Because the building is still unstable and poses a threat, Chief McConnell says implosion is the only way to take down the building.
He also reminded the public that there is still a criminal investigation going on. And in that investigation, the next step will be to recover more evidence when the building comes down.
