NEW ORLEANS – On Wednesday afternoon, Dr. Avegno and Mayor Cantrell provided the details of all current COVID-19 restrictions in place in Orleans Parish. Since New Orleans positivity rate is currently under 5 percent, this week there are no change in restrictions.

Mayor Cantrell added that New Years Eve will look a little different this year. That means there will be no fireworks, and no public viewing of the Fleur de Lis drop on top of JAX Brewery. Instead the drop will be televised, and the best seat in the house, is on your sofa!
