NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The latest Wheel of Justice report takes a look at a case that landed on Crimestoppers’ Most Wanted list.

In August of 2013, a man entered the Jack Sutton Fine Jewelry store in the Shops at Canal Place and told the clerk that he wanted to buy a Rolex watch.  According to police, when the customer couldn’t decide between two of them, he ran from the store with both — without paying.

The two watches are valued at about $75k total.  Since then, the NOPD has named a suspect in the case.  He’s 27-year-old Louis Wellington McClendon, according to CrimeStoppers.

Also since the heist, the case has been added to CrimeStoppers Most Wanted List.  There is a reward of up to $2,500 for a tip that leads to an arrest and indictment.
