NEW ORLEANS – Of all folks hit hard by the coronavirus, among the hardest hit are residents of nursing homes.
Of course for folks who get the virus, it’s terrible.
The worst.
But also for residents affected by the virus which means their families cannot come visit.
WGNO’s Bill Wood has the story from Poydras Home.
Right now, residents here are limited to visits on Zoom, FaceTime and Skype.
That’s the rule.
And the reality is, these interactions are not enough.
But for now, it’s all that’s available.
