(WGNO) — Coast Guard crews based in Belle Chasse often provide dramatic video of their recues in the Gulf of Mexico. But their latest mission was recorded by one of the people who was saved. Tuesday morning, Tom Mallett headed out of Biloxi with three other people to go fishing. 90 miles off the coast of Louisiana, their 28-foot walkaround fishing boat was slammed by ten-foot seas. Within two minutes, the boat was underwater, Mallet told WGNO News.
