JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) – Louisiana State Police are searching for the driver in a deadly hit-and-run near the Orleans Parish line.
Preliminary investigation shows that the victim was riding his bicycle south on Earhart Expressway near the shoulder of the road when he was struck from behind.
Troopers believe another vehicle struck the man a second time.
The man’s body was discovered around 2 a.m. Wednesday.
Investigators believe one of the cars that hit the man is a Toyota. The suspect vehicles possibly have front end damage.
An autopsy will be conducted to identify the male subject.
