NEW ORLEANS – At least four schools in Orleans Parish will be closed tomorrow due to the cold weather.

According to schools’ spokeswoman Dominique Ellis, Warren Easton High School, KIPP Central City Academy, KIPP-Booker T. Washington, and KIPP East Community Primary will not open on Wednesday, January 3, because of concerns about freezing temperatures across the area.

More school closings could be announced this evening, but as of now, only four closings have been confirmed, according to a post on the Orleans Parish School Board’s Facebook page.
