New Orleans, LA (WGNO) – The Marigny Opera House was the location of Solange Knowles marriage of course but the building is also used as a “church for the arts.”
This weekend, December 12 and 13th at 8pm you can see Christmas Concert: A Marigny Christmas. The performances will feature the world premiere of local composer Tucker Fuller’s “Salve Regina.” the piece was composed for Italian mezzo-soprano Mattea Musso, who has returned to New Orleans for the performance. All of which are excited to perform in the aged building.
The concert will also include a holiday selection of Baroque vocal and instrumental works performed by the New Resonance Chamber Orchestra Ensemble. conducted by Francis Scully.
Tickets are $30 dollars, $20 for students/seniors. You can buy them here or at the door the night of the performances.
