NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – A list has emerged, ranking the sluttiest states in the US.

Online magazine, Mandatory.com used numbers obtained from the CDC to determine which states were the sluttiest, and which were the safest.  The combined total infections of chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis per 100,000 residents produced the results.

Mississippi topped the list, with 774 cases of chlamydia, 230 cases of gonorrhea, and 5 cases of syphilis. Making their ratio a staggering  1,009.8 cases per every 100,000 residents.

Rounding out the top five were Alaska, Alabama, Louisiana, and South Carolina ranging from 748-858 cases per 100,000 residents.

In case you were wondering, Louisiana had 598 cases of chlamydia, 194 cases of gonorrhea, and 7.4 cases of syphilis. Making their ratio 799.4 case per 100,000 residents. 

The safest  states? Idaho, Maine, Utah, Vermont, and New Hampshire, all having  less than 300 cases per every 100,000 residents.
