Watch: Jefferson Parish officials discuss COVID-19 and Aug. 15 election


JEFFERSON PARISH – On Thursday, officials in Jefferson Parish held a press conference to discuss the COVID-19 situation, as well as the upcoming August 15 election.

Due to COVID-19, Jefferson Parish residents can expect changes to some polling locations.  To find your polling place, register to vote and view a sample ballot, visit or download the GeauxVote mobile app available on iOS and Android devices.

Voters are encouraged to go to the polls or cast an early vote.  Early voting will be held through Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Voters can also vote by mail; the deadline to request a mail ballot is on August 11, 2020.
