Coronavirus outbreak shuts down Criminal District Court

NEW ORLEANS – A coronavirus outbreak has shut down Criminal District Court for the rest of this week.

A source tells WGNO that two sheriff’s deputies who were working at the courthouse are infected.

The courthouse at Tulane and Broad is closed to all judges and staff, and the public, until Monday.

The city says the court will be sanitized and disinfected on Friday.
