Evacuteer Statues In Place For Hurricane Season

Evacuspot Sculputures: Art with a PurposeMonday, the City of New Orleans announced has its new Evacuteer sculptures in place for hurricane season.

In all, there will be 17 of the statues placed in neighborhoods around the city.

The statues will mark places where — during a mandatory hurricane evacuation — people without transportation can go to get a ride out of the city and to a safe shelter.
