‘Danny and the Deep Blue Sea’ play comes to New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)-  A play written by, Pulitzer-winning playwright, John Patrick Shanley is making its way from the Big Apple to the Big Easy!

"Danny and the Deep Blue Sea," presented by Drowning In Blue, is a play about two strangers who meet in a Bronx bar and realize how much they need each other, despite their dark pasts.

The two stars, Jamie Neumann and Joshua Sienkiewicz have worked both in New York City and New Orleans. They say the two cities share a similar energy and are happy to bring the play here to us.

Peter Jensen is the director of the play.

"Danny and the Deep Blue Sea" opens on Wednesday January 14th and runs through January 30th.

Drowning in Blue is a New York and New Orleans based production collective of filmmakers, screenwriters, actors, playwrights and producers.
