NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Investigators arrested a 21-year-old New Orleans man on 30 counts of possessing child pornography and a single count of distributing it.

Evan Bradford, of 4770 Demotluzin Street, is charged with violating a state law forbidding a person to produce, distribute, possess, or possess with the intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles.

If convicted as charged, he faces up to 20 years in prison on each count of child pornography.

The arrest resulted from a joint investigation involving the Attorney General’s Cyber Crime Unit, Louisiana State Police, St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, New Orleans Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.

Bradford was booked into the Orleans Parish Jail without incident.

Attorney General Buddy Caldwell said, “My office continues to coordinate with law enforcement agencies statewide and use the best technology available to catch online predators and other internet based criminals.”
