It’s that time of year — prom season! And a lot of high school seniors go home with a prom souvenir, but some parents in Wisconsin are incredibly upset with what their kids came home with. The parting gift for West Allis Central High School students was a champagne flute with the words “prom 2015” etched on the glass. Parents say this gift is “completely inappropriate” to give to students who are not old enough to drink and are warned about the dangers of drinking on prom night. We asked on our WGNO Facebook page if there was anything wrong with the drinking glass souvenirs and an overwhelming number of people were in favor of the gift. In fact, plenty of people shared their own prom glasses.
