BATON ROUGE – Seven businesses want to produce marijuana for Louisiana.
According to WBRZ, LSU is looking for a contractor “quality product” for medical marijuana patients in Louisiana.
It’s expected to about cost $10 million, but the company that wins the bid will pay for it.
The seven bidders announced Friday afternoon are:
Columbia Care Louisiana LLC
CB Medical, LLC
GB Sciences Louisiana, LLC
Citiva LA, LLC
Southern Roots Therapeutics, LLC
Fourrier House, LLC
Terah Holdings, LLC
