NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)–Looking to keep the kids busy and out of trouble once school lets out?
Mayor Mitch Landrieu and other city officials rolled out their plans to offer thousands of young people summer camps, teen camps, and even paid internships.
NORDC camps for 3,900 children ages 4 to 12, and another 13 camps for 1,000 13- to 15-year-olds, will offer a summer’s worth of activities, as well as free breakfast and lunch.
