New Orleans newbie Kinsey Schofield joins WGNO as the co-host of Good Morning New Orleans at 5-7 a.m. With over a quarter of a million social media followers, @KinseySchofield grew her social media audience by mixing headlines and humor.

Kinsey has been seen on Nancy Grace, Dr. Drew on Call, Jane Velez-Mitchell, FOX & Friends, Your World with Neil Cavuto, FOX’s Happening Now, Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld, The Young Turks, and numerous E! Channel comedy specials including; Celebrity Oops They Did It Again, Bigger Badder Celebrity Feuds, Attack of the Celebrity Bikinis, and Worst Thing I Ever Posted.

She has been featured on the cover of So Scottsdale Magazine, Arizona Foothills Magazine, and Entrepreneur Magazine and was included in the top 5% of Fast Company Magazine’s Social Media Influence Project. Kinsey covered the Jodi Arias trial for Phoenix’s KPNX and helped develop KSAZ’s FOX News Now, anchoring live coverage 4-7 hours daily. She spent a year at KNXV. Her most notable success was reaching 16 million Facebook users while anchoring four hours of live coverage during a hostage situation.

Kinsey’s charity work includes being a committee member for Make-A-Wish Arizona, helping raise over $2.2 million to help fund 320 wishes in 2017. As the social media chair for Phoenix Art Museum’s Andy Warhol pARTy, she helped raise over $1 million for Phoenix Art. Kinsey also helped raise $1.1 million during the 18th annual Fashion Gala for Fresh Start Women’s Foundation.

She has emceed events to benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital and has volunteered her time to Defenders of Wildlife, Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night, and the Friars Club ESPN Sports Roast of Terry Bradshaw.

She loves her dogs and carbs.

    LACOOCHEE, FL — Well, that’s one way to win an argument… According to authorities, a Florida woman poured hot sauce into her husband’s eyes in the middle of a “heated” fight. 41-year-old Esmeralda Lopez was arrested on Monday morning. The arrest report stated, “This was done against the victim’s will and without his consent.” He was transported to a hospital for treatment. No further word on his condition.
