NEW ORLEANS - NOPD first received the call around 12:40 P.M. and arrived on the scene less than 15 minutes later.
Deputies discovered one victim who was pronounced dead on scene.
The victim was later identified as 30-year-old Armond Hall.
The shooting happened at the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Wilson Avenue, in the Seventh District.
This is an ongoing investigation.
