NEW ORLEANS -- When Bayou Road nears its destination, it goes through another name change in Treme: Gov. Nicholls Street.

Geographer Richard Campanella from the Tulane School of Architecture explains how Bayou Road's winding course has affected the way houses are laid out along its path.
