NEW ORLEANS — It’s been an unusually bitter stretch of winter, with multiple cold snaps and even snow across much of Southeast Louisiana.

Overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, our entire viewing area saw below freezing temperatures with wind chills in the single digits, ice covering cars and roadways, and even snow in many areas.
