UPDATE: Two trucks collide, go up in flames in St. Bernard Parish

Firefighters extinguished a truck fire in Violet Thursday.

UPDATE: Two trucks collided today in the 4900 block of East St. Bernard Highway, injuring one person and spilling diesel fuel onto the road.

The St. Bernard Parish Fire Department said the fire has since been extinguished.

VIOLET, La. (WGNO) – The St. Bernard Parish Fire and Police Departments are on the scene of an overturned truck that is engulfed in flames.

The truck came to a rest on the corner of St. Bernard Highway and Francis Avenue.

Police have set up a perimeter at Livacarri Drive.
