NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - No matter how you slice it, Chef Justin Devillier is maestro in the middle of his kitchen.

His kitchen is at La Petite Grocery, 4238 Magazine Street in New Orleans.

And that's where WGNO News with a Twist features reporter Wild Bill Wood says Chef Justin is cooking up some of the best grits in America.

That's not just from the mouth of Wild Bill.

The best grits listing is from Tablelog, the website that rates restaurants around the country.

Chef Justin takes his time making his grits.  These are not instant from a package.

The process, and it is quite the process, takes an hour and a half.
