State Police: Missing Florida man could be traveling through Louisiana

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – A man with a medical condition who’s missing from Pensacola, Florida, could be traveling through Louisiana.

State Police said in a press release that 71-year-old Ira Johnson was last seen about 1:50 p.m. Monday. He never returned home in Pensacola.

Johnson is about 5-foot, 10 inches tall, weighs 280 pounds, has gray hair and blue eyes.  He was last seen wearing a red pullover shirt, gray sweatpants and gray tennis shoes.

Johnson is believed to be traveling in a black 2005 Dodge pickup truck bearing Mississippi license plate P571E.  Police believe Mr. Johnson may be traveling though Louisiana.

Family members say Mr. Johnson suffers from a medical condition that could impair his judgment.
