MANDEVILLE, LA (WGNO) -- Santa was there with Mrs. Clause and a team of elves.  Saint Tammany Sheriff Randy Smith was also there with his deputies.

The scene was at the Castine Center in Mandeville's Pelican Park.  But the big attraction was the guests of honor, more than 1,000 senior citizens.

The Saint Tammany Deputy Sheriff's Association hosted its 28th annual Senior Citizens' Christmas Dinner.  Each diner received a turkey dinner with all the fixin's.
