NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – A New Orleans chef is one of 30 women looking for reality television love on the next season of ABC’s The Bachelor.

According to ABC’s website, the new season of The Bachelor, a popular reality TV dating game that’s prompted several spin-off dating shows, is Jan. 2 at 7 p.m. on WGNO-ABC 26.

Jaimi, of New Orleans, one of 30 women vying to win the love of “bachelor” Nick Viall, says the most outrageous thing she’s ever done is crowd-surfed.

Jaimi was chosen from several contestants at the local WGNO/ABC Casting Call at Harrah’s New Orleans in July.

She called the experience “amazing.”

Asked whether she follows a specific diet, she told show producers that she’s a “pesco-pollo-lacto-ovo-paro-tarian.”

“Just fish + bird, plus byproducts,” she says.

The chef says her biggest accomplishment was catering for the Oscars.

So, how would Jaimi impress a man?

“Depending on how much bigger he is than me, I could bench press him with my legs. It’s pretty exciting and surprising,” she says.
