NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – NFL On Fox Sideline Reporter Jen Hale shares three things fantasy owners need to know about tonight's Saints vs. Carolina Panthers game in Charlotte, NC.

1)  Drew Brees shines

Drew Brees is coming off his 102nd career game with at least 300 passing yards--an NFL-best. Drew is also now a member of the "450 touchdown pass club," a group whose only other members are Peyton Manning and Brett Favre. Drew collected 20 fantasy points last week for his effort, once again a Top 10 scorer.

2) Shout out to the defense

The Saints defense earned ten points this week as a Top 5 fantasy defense. New Orleans forced two interceptions, courtesy of safety Kenny Vaccaro and CB Sterling Moore. This is the first time this season that the Black and Gold D has recorded two picks in one game. Their six sacks were also a season-high.

3) Scouting Carolina

This past Sunday, the Panthers allowed the Chiefs to score 20 unanswered points, 17 in the final period. Quarterback Cam Newton has been up and down. He's the 15th ranked fantasy QB on the season with 128 points. TE Greg Olsen might not have had a stellar production this past Sunday. But, he is the highest scoring fantasy tight end this season by far: 85 points.
