NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - You know what time it is - time for the city to get to work!

Our pothole of the day is so deep that cars have been towed out of it. It's on Euphrosine and South Lopez in Gert Town.

"It's been this way for approximately three or four months," said Alan Smith, who works near the pothole. "It's getting worse and worse. We've already had at least two cars get stuck, and we had to go help them. One of them had to get towed out.

"Those cones were brought by some other people," he continued. "At night, if you're not familiar with this, you can really do some damage not only to your car but to yourself. It seems like they only fix it when the float people have to get their floats out. I don't know if that's the truth, but that's when they did fix it last year. My pothole is not more important than anybody else's, but we would like it to get fixed permanently."
