Tulane’s Stockton said the Wave must hit the boards in 2016-2017

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – In her 23rd season at Tulane, women’s basketball coach Lisa Stockton said Tulane must be a better rebounding team. Stockton made her remarks at women’s basketball media day Tuesday.

Tulane's back court includes junior guard Kolby Morgan from John Curtis Christian School. Morgan scored 601 points last season and has 1,002 career points at Tulane. She is the first to reach the 1,000-point mark at the school after two seasons.

Tulane won 23 games last season. The Wave was outstanding at home, winning 14 of 17 games.

Tulane plays Loyola Tuesday November 6 in exhibition play at Devlin Fieldhouse. The Wave hosts Grambling State November 12 and four days later plays Mississippi State in Biloxi.
