"The first time I saw it, I was like, I gotta do this,” he said.
This is the same technology you may have seen at Disney`s haunted mansion. But for years, the cost would have been too much for the average home owner. That’s not the case anymore.
“It`s probably going to get cheaper as the technology gets better and better,” Lockwood said. “The setup is pretty simple. Hook up a projector and aim it towards the window. If you use a frosted shower curtain, it`ll trap the image and display it on the window, but people outside won`t be able to see in your house but they`ll just see the projection.”
So where does Jack get his ghosts? They`re all on DVDs from an online company called Atmos FX.
“You start fidgeting, fooling with it and see what works best,” Lockwood said.
Some people have skeletons in their closet. With a little help from his wife, Lockwood has skeletons in his garage.
“If I can do it anybody can do it,” Lockwood said. “So hopefully it`ll be contagious and everybody else will join in. Halloween is the best.”
