NEW ORLEANS(WGNO) - Tonight, the Cubs will take on the Indians in game one of the World Series, and as the entire world watches the two teams who have the longest winning droughts in the MLB face off, some nuns uptown think the Cubs may have the advantage. A holy advantage that is!

The sisters at the Blessed Trinity Church on General Taylor will be rooting for the Cubs at Walk-Ons tonight, and it's all thanks to sister Mary Lou Specha. Specha is a Chicago native, so she brought her passion for baseball down to New Orleans, and converted her sister friends!

"Pope Francis said that this was the year of mercy, and you know there's been a lot of bad Cubs teams," laughed Specha. "Now I don't think he was really talking about the year of mercy for sports but we can extend it for making relevance for our lives."
