NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)- On October 12, 2016, Mayor Landrieu attended a press conference in the Lower 9th Ward to talk about the success of the roadway reconstruction project on North Galvez.

The 8 million dollar project dealt with new drainage, sewer and waterlines, as well as reinforcing concrete.

Two days later we, just a stone's throw from where the mayor was, we found a pothole leaking water into the streets.

Neighbors say they applaud the mayor's efforts in wanting to get the area cleaned up, but this pothole found near North Prieur Street and Forstall Street needs some tender, love, and care and it needs it immediately.
