NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)- The New Orleans Swing Dance Festival was in full swing today at the Ace Hotel.  That's where News with a Twist Reporter Kenny Lopez checked out the fancy footwork.

Dancers from all around the world are in New Orleans getting into the swing of things.

"The New Orleans Swing Dance Festival is a music and dancing extravaganza.  It happens every year in the month of October.  We basically get swing dancers from around the world to come and take dance classes during the day, and party at night,"  Danielle Dyar with the New Orleans Swing Dance Festival said.

The New Orleans Swing Dance Festival gives dancers the opportunity to learn different styles of swing.

"Swing dancing is so much fun!  You feel like you're flying and riding the music.  It is so great,"  Dyar said.

The festival lasts until 4am today.   For more information, click HERE.
