Police seek the identity of individual in Pontchartrain Park shooting incident

NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD needs assistance from the public in identifying an individual who may have information about a shooting incident that happened on June 9, 2016.

At about 8:00 p.m., the victim told police she was at Pontchartrain park with her family in the 6400 block of Press Drive. The victim stated a fight started between her brother and unknown subjects. The victim then stated she heard gunshots and discovered she was shot in the ankle.

The pictured individual is not a suspect in this incident but would like to talk with him about the incident.

Police believe the individual goes by the nickname of “Slugga” and may have information about the incident.
