BOSTON (WGNO) – Rhea the bird from Boston has a rare disease that attacks her feather follicles and causes her to live life “naked.”

But that doesn’t stop the parrot from talking, clapping, dancing and doing all the other things parrots do. The difference between Rhea and other parrots, though, is that Rhea has more than 85,000 followers on Instagram.

Rhea suffers from Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease. Over time, the disease causes progressive feather loss and malformation of the beak and claws, according to People.com.

The Instagram star can be seen on Instagram playing with puppies, browsing the Internet and hanging with her adoptive parents.
