9-month-old, 3 others stabbed in St. Roch fight

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – NOPD is investigating a big fight in the St. Roch neighborhood that left a 9-month-old baby and three other people with stab wounds.

According to NOPD, the brawl happened about 3:15 p.m. at the corner of Mandeville and North Derbigny streets.  Two groups began fighting, and one of the groups brandished knives and fired gunshots.

stabbing-1Four people – including a 9-month-old baby, were treated for “non life-threatening” stab wounds, police said. No one was injured by gunfire.

The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made. Police have not identified a suspect or suspects.
