BATON ROUGE (WGNO) – “Look it’s been fun, but the last few years haven’t.”

That’s the start of one of two online fundraising campaigns trying to raise enough money for LSU to buy out the contract of LSU Football Coach Les Miles.

LSU’s loss Saturday to the University of Wisconsin Badgers – on a big stage and in the prime time at Lambeau Field – left a lot of fans scratching their heads.

WGNO Sports Director Ed Daniels called it an “offensive debacle.”

Others, like the person who started one of the Go Fund Me accounts, weren’t so nice.

“Our rivals from Tuscaloosa have been in the college football playoffs every year while we sit in mediocrity,” the page says.

The other Go Fund Me page calls Miles “a hard headed, stubborn, unimaginative,  dips***.”

One of the pages notes that “in the likely event that LSU will not accept the funds raised here, all monies will be donated to the Louisiana flood relief effort.”
