METAIRIE, La. (WGNO)- We want you to meet a local boy who just might be the world's biggest fan of car washes.  Yes, car washes!

News with a Twist Reporter Kenny Lopez shows you why this enthusiastic, 9-year old boy got a VIP car wash tour.

Ethan Franz loves car washes. He loves them so much in fact that's he's already brushing up on all his car wash knowledge for when he gets older and owns his own car wash. This boy's got drive!  From the sights of the car wash to the sounds, he studies every little detail and can name all the parts from the rags to the brushes.

Now what you may not know is that Ethan has autism.

"I think children with autism tend to love car washes.  I think the repetition and sounds are why," Cherie Franz, Ethan's mom, said.

With this kind of love for car washes, there was no way to keep it on the down low.

Ethan is excited because Pelican Pointe Car Wash on Airline Drive in Metairie is giving him a VIP special private tour of their car wash.

Last week, Pelican Pointe posted a picture of an art project that Ethan put together.  It was a replica of a Pelican Pointe Car Wash.   Josh with Pelican Pointe saw the Facebook post and invited Ethan for a dream-come-true tour.

"This blows my mind!  This is going to make his life," his mother said.

Pelican Pointe was so touched by Ethan and his enthusiasm that they are working with his family to hold an autism fundraiser.
