New Orleans hands-on class teaches you how to blow your own glass sculptures

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - New Orleans Glassworks will teach you how to make your own glass souvenier from scratch.

Liquid glass is kept in an oven that heats at 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit and once taken out can be manipulated to any shape as it starts to cool down.

The hands-on class is for all ages and year around.

If you don't wish to make your own glass, the company has tours and demonstrations that will take your breath away. It's not just glass blowing that you can learn. They have Mono-printing, paper marbling, copper enameling, and a stained glass panel. How about some wine with your lesson? Some of the courses offer wine while you work!
