NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - William Shatner is one of TV's biggest stars.

At Wizard World Comic Con in New Orleans, the lines are long to meet and greet him and to get one of his prized autographs.

William Shatner is, of course, best known as Captain Kirk from the TV show Star Trek. That was back in the sixties.

Since then, he's  been on the television shows T. J. Hooker and Boston Legal.

Even though he's a TV legend, it's hard to believe William Shatner is 84!

WGNO News with a Twist features reporter Wild Bill Wood talks with him LIVE at Wizard World Comic Con in New Orleans to find out how the actor stays in shape.

William Shatner also talks about the books he's written.  It's called Leonard.  And it's about his relationship with his Star Trek co-star Leonard Nimoy.  The book shows a 50-year friendship inside and outside show business.

The two actors first met on the set of The Man from U.N.C.L.E.  Back then; they had no idea what would be ahead for their careers.

In his book, William Shatner tells the story of their friendship and stories from other friends in their lives.

William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy appeared in 79 television episodes and six feature films.
