NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The Christmas shopping season is over, but returns and exchanges are going full steam ahead — not to mention after Christmas sale shopping.  So it’s also prime season, still, for package thieves.  The NOPD released surveillance video of the latest suspect accused of taking packages from a home in the 700 block of Delachaise Street.  According to police, the theft happened a little before 1:00 in the afternoon on December 30.  The video shows someone ride up on a bicycle, take the packages, and pedal away.  Click on the video button above to see the clip.

Monday’s Wheel of Justice report also included the search for two people who are accused of stealing  a woman’s purse from a bar in the 4800 block of Tchoupitoulas Street.  The NOPD says the pair used the woman’s credit cards to make purchases at the CVS Pharmacy in the 4900 block of Prytania and the Walgreens in the 4000 block of Canal Street.  Police release multiple video clips of the pair as well as the car they’re accused of using.  Click on the video button above to see them all.
