It seems that every year LSU head coach Les Miles is answering questions about his quarterbacks, but this year a different slant.

His 2014 starter Anthony Jennings is currently suspended after a June arrest.

A source told WGNO sports Thursday that Jennings, and the two others involved in the alleged June incident: Defensive Lineman Maquedius Bain and Cornerback Dwayne Thomas could be be back on the team by the end of this week.

The 3 have never been formally charged after being arrested for allegedly trying to retrieve items they say were stolen from Jennings.

<Les Miles: "I have done research the best I can, and the legal process operates without me. And I am optimistic.">

Miles said that Brandon Harris has gotten extensive work while Jennings has been suspended. But, that a two quarterback competition will ensue in fall camp.

<Miles: "The time that he has missed is more of chance for Brandon Harris to take some throws, to lead the practices. It won`t be about the time he has missed. It will be about the time he arrives on campus and will we see who's best.">

<Ed Daniels: "There are always curious things happening at media day, and on Thursday it was Leonard Fournette's attire.">

Fournette was sporting red pants and a red bow tie.

No purple? His explanation was thrift.

<Leonard Fournette: "The truth is this was on sale, and I didn't want to pay a lot for a suit.">

Fournette said when players arrived at the plane Thursday morning in Baton Rouge, head coach Les Miles offered to spray paint him purple.
