HAHNVILLE, LA (WGNO) -- St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne announced the arrest of two men in connection with a drug dealing investigation.

According to Champagne, his deputies confiscated guns, $36,880, and about 79 pounds of marijuana.

The sheriff says his deputies received a tip in the case from the DEA.  Champagne says his deputies arrested the first suspect, Juan Alberto Salinas of Houston, Texas, during a traffic stop.

Champagne says the second suspect, Lance James Cowans, was arrested at his home in St. Rose.  That is also the location, according to the sheriff, where most of the evidence was found.  Video of the evidence can be seen by clicking on the video button above.
