Wednesday’s Wheel of Justice report includes surveillance video released by the NOPD  that shows a group of people who may be responsible for more than one robbery in the St. Roch neighborhood.

About two weeks ago, neighbors in St. Roch marched through the streets to rally support to fight crime there.  They listed a series of shootings, robberies, and beatings as their biggest concerns.

The video shows a group of people running from the scene of a robbery, just days before the march.

Wednesday’s report also included a vigil planned for Thursday night to help find whoever shot and killed a man named Anthony Simon in the Hollygrove neighborhood in February.

Simon was walking with his four-year-old daughter when he was gunned down.  CrimeStoppers doubled the reward in the case to $5,000.

The vigil is set to begin on August 14th at 5:00 pm at the corner of Prichard Place and Monroe in Hollygrove.
